ISO 9001:2015 – Quality management systems
The ISO 9001:2015 accreditation is awarded to companies that consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. It is also given to companies that aim to maximise customer satisfaction through effective delivery of their services by implementing processes for improvement, while assuring conformity to customer and applicable regulatory requirements.
ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental management systems
This is awarded to companies who demonstrate an environmental management system that enhances their environmental performance. Keeping in line with a company’s environmental policy, a good environmental management system will achieve environmental objectives and fulfil compliance obligations.
ISO 4501:2018 – Occupational health and safety management systems
This accreditation lays out specific requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) system and gives guidance for its use. This enables businesses to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury or ill health, as well as by proactively seeking to improve its OH&S performance. It also helps companies to fulfil legal and other requirements.
An accredited OH&S management system is applicable to any risks under the company’s control and considers the needs and expectations of not only its workers, but other interested parties.
